Oromia International Bank concluded the second –round prize-linked remittance business by lottery drawing ceremony held at National Lottery Administration, yesterday. The lottery drawing ceremony was held at the presence of OIB’s Senior Management including the President and National Lottery observers. On the opening ceremony, President of OIB Obbo Teferi Mekonnen thanked the National Lottery Administration for their valuable cooperation to make the scheme successful.

He emphasized that the objective of the prize-linked remittance business is to boost the country’s foreign currency mobilization effort in general and to increase the Bank’s foreign currency earning in particular. The scheme also encourages the saving culture of the society, he added. In this second-round of the lottery, the first prize is 2019 Model Suzuki Sedan Automobile whose winning number was 1168637.
